Who we are
fixmygeyser ("we", "us") operates fixmygeyser.co.za. We connect homeowners in Gauteng and the Western Cape who need geyser repair or installation with certified plumbers. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here. You can reach us at support@fixmygeyser.co.za.

What we collect
When you complete the quote form we collect: your name, phone number, and email; your suburb and province; and the details you give about your geyser job (urgency, job type, insurance status, symptoms, size, brand, budget, timeline, and similar). We also record basic page and referral data (for example which page you arrived on and standard analytics).
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We collect this information with your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before you submit the form. We use it for one purpose: to pass your enquiry to a certified plumber so they can contact you and quote on your job. We do not sell your information for marketing, and we do not share it for any purpose other than connecting you with a plumber for this enquiry.
Who we share it with
We share your enquiry with one or more certified plumbers in your area so they can contact you about the job. We use the following service providers to run the site: Supabase (secure enquiry storage), Vercel (website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics), and CallMeBot (a messaging relay that sends our own team an instant alert containing your name, number, and area when a new enquiry arrives). We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for 24 months, after which it is deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will (see your rights below).
Your rights under POPIA
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it (the right to deletion / objection).
- Withdraw your consent at any time.

Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice. Only if you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner do we load privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used; choosing "Necessary only" loads no analytics at all. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. You can change your choice using the cookie banner.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Enquiry data is stored with access controls and is not publicly accessible.
